Upscale Fashion When You Are Expecting

LOS ANGELES - JAN 14: Natalie Portman arrives at the 16th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards at Hollywood Palladium on January 14, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA

While you’re excited and over the moon about being a mother, you’re a little upset about your newest clothes not fitting you or you not looking so stylish or up to the mark at gatherings or functions. But you need not be upset about it; In fact you might even look more graceful than you have before.

If you are normally a flat chested person, then pregnancy is the best time to show some skin. Wear your V-necked sweaters or T-shirts. Wear your favorite color without being hesitant, though if you are not too sure about showing off your baby bump, darker colors will definitely do the trick.

Long simple lined dresses and evening gowns will make you look beautiful and graceful and your baby bump will look extremely adorable. Natalie Portman has proved it on the Red Carpet a lot of times herself since she started expecting. Delicate pearl or diamond jewelry can be a perfect accessory. If you do not like diamonds, wear something classic and chic but not too much as we know that less is more but make sure that what you wear, blows everyone’s shoes off.

One thing that every woman would be not so happy about is the fact that you can’t wear heels. It is more of point of “should not” then “can’t”. You should always choose footwear that is comfortable for you to walk in. So if you do not wear heels, comfortable pumps can be the perfect replacement.

If you have a short neck and want it to look longer, wear your hair up. That helps give your hair volume and a long and lean look for your neck. A delicate piece of necklace on that beautiful neck will leave everyone turning heads.

Now finally, the nails! Keep your nails to medium length and neatly cut. Normal nail polish or a French manicure would look perfect but be sure to not wear products that can be harmful for your baby.
